How to Repeat Row and Column Headings with Excel
There is nothing more frustrating then working all day on an excel spreadsheet and all you need to do is print but you can’t figure out how to get those headings that you labored so hard to organize to print on each page. Here’s how:
Excel’s 2007/2010’s Print Titles command enable you to print certain row and column headings on each page of the report. This is extremely helpful for those multipage report that requires the headings as a reference for the data that spreads to more than one page.
1. Click the Print Titles button on the Page Layout Tab.
2. To designate worksheet rows as print titles, select the Rows to Repeat at top text box, then click and drag through the row numbers. Same steps for colums as print titles, select the Columns to Repeat at left text box, then click and drag through the column letters.

This Month in IT History
February 15, 1946 – The Electronic Numerical Integrator and Computer, or ENIAC, was made public as the first general-purpose electronic computer. Invented by 38-year-old Dr. John William Mauchly, and 26-year-old J. Presper Eckert Jr., the ENIAC was designed for the United States Army’s Ballistic Research Laboratory, specifically, to prepare a large volume of ballistic data, with this data the army would be able to produce guns more effectively. To test the ENIAC, a very difficult wartime problem was sent through the machines intricate circuits. The ENIAC completed the task in two hours, that originally would take 100 men a full year to calculate. With 18,000 vacuum tubes, in a 30 by 60 foot room, and weighing 30 tons, the 30 month project cost $400,000 and 200,000 man-hours. With all that this machine could perform four duties: Add, Subtract, Multiply and Divide.
What now seems a simple function performed by the ENIAC, the design by Mauchly and Eckert still remains the basic structure of computers today.
